This year we spent Thanksgiving in the Texas hill country in quaint and beautiful Fredericksburg. We discovered this little gem of a town about 6 years ago and have gone back year after year at different seasons to enjoy the beautiful hill country scenery, restaurants and vineyards. The town was already decorated for Christmas European style with beautiful decorations and lights adorning the outside of every shop and restaurant on Main Street and the town square decorated with Christmas trees, gingerbread trains and nativity scenes. On the menu for Thanksgiving was roast turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, rosemary roasted sweet potatoes, sage and cornbread stuffing, mushroom sauce and finishing off with a delicious pumpkin spice cake and dulce de leche ice cream. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the people you love. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
